On May 7th, make art, make plans, make a difference! Join a global chorus of voices calling for a rapid and just transition to renewable energy and away from fossil fuels.
An international “Break Free” coalition has set in motion a massive global action for May 13th, 14th and 15th. Only 16 sites around the world have been chosen. One of them is right here on the shores of our Salish Sea– March’s Point in Anacortes with its Shell and Tesoro refineries.
Transition Lopez Island is hosting a Break Free preparation party. We’ll share conversations, create banners, make art, make music, generate ideas and coordinate kayactivists, bikes, and ride share to the May 14th actions.
Join us to gather as friends and families for the future. Bring a picnic lunch.
May 7th, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sunnyfield Farm
