Thirteen Transitioneers gathered at Beverly Zapalac’s on October 30th to give her a hand with some chores she was not able to tackle on her own. The group dismantled a storage shed full of lumber and re-mantled it on David’s farm. We also chopped up and got rid of a large pile of brush in the yard. After a delicious lunch prepared by Beverly, (and a short nap for some) work resumed with elimination of two dead elderberry bushes and felling a large willow threatening to fall over the road. The day’s work was followed by a potluck dinner at the home of Jack and Parvin.
